One of the favourites to win competitions with its huge orange fruits.
A great representative of the giant pumpkins. The variety was selected in the 1970s by Canadian breeder Howard Dill and has since been further selected for size. Some regional champions achieve fruits of 500 to 800 kg with this variety again and again in the popular gardening fun of pumpkin competitions in Germany. However, this requires a lot of experience, space, the right weather and luck. But pumpkins weighing 50-200 kg are also a good start. These can be used in the kitchen as pumpkin soup or pickled sweet and sour.
